This could be one hell of a dive center. It's a few years we have been here and it could have changed drastically so don't take what is written here as gospel.
It seemed to be a pain to get to - tucked away up some side road at the back of a village. The car park was way above the water level (maybe 20 metres) and it was a steep shale(ish) path between the two that was a bit of a nightmare with all your kit on. The water however was crytal clear with viz of 20m or more. This was probably helped by the fact we were the only nutters there that day.
The south side of the quarry is extremely deep (90m plus) but we didnt have the kit or energy to do the place justice. We did this as a day trip which was a big mistake since no one felt in the right frame of mind to make the most of a bad job.
As a result, we spent the dive on the shelf and found the tunnel as well a few bits like cranes and various bits of quarry gear.
We really ought to make the effort and go back and do this one!
